The mission behind Brightroom
Brightroom Studio was created to be a shared space that removes the heavy investment of time, money, and energy required to open a standalone studio. This new venture was built to make professional studio access affordable and attainable by sharing costs, resources, and opportunity, so photographers can focus on their art, grow their businesses, and thrive within a supportive creative community!
What we stand for and why it matters
We built Brightroom around these principles. These values guide how we run the studio, who we work with, and the community we're creating.
Make Great Work Accessible
Professional studio space shouldn't be limited to those who can afford monthly memberships. We charge by the hour with no commitments, so every photographer—from hobbyists to full-time pros—can create work they're proud of!
Support Small Creative Business
We're a small business built by photographers, for photographers. We know what it's like to hustle for every client and watch expenses carefully. That's why we keep our rates fair, our equipment maintained, and our space consistently available!
Build a Creative Community
We built Brightroom to be more than a rental space—it's where photographers connect, collaborate, and learn from each other. There’s room for ALL of us, and when you succeed, we all succeed!
Meet the founders
One family with a shared vision

Mike and Emily Cavallo created Painted Tree Boutiques, a retail marketplace designed to help entrepreneurs turn their passions into thriving businesses. What began as a vision to make business ownership more accessible has grown into a platform that has supported thousands of small business owners across the country. Now they are partnering with family, Allison and Jake, to bring that same spirit of empowerment to a different kind of creative passion—photography.

Allison has been photographing families and collaborating with local businesses for over a decade. It has been a longtime dream of hers to create a studio that felt both professional and welcoming — filled with beautiful light and designed to make creating feel easy and FUN. That vision became Brightroom Studio! With her husband Jake supporting the business side behind the scenes, Brightroom was created as a family business to be a shared space where photographers feel supported and inspired.
